Most international tourists come to Cambodia, especially Phnom Penh by air at Phnom Penh International Airport and by land through some international border crossings with Vietnam, Thailand and Laos.  Some international tourists travel to Cambodia by big cruise ships through Sihanoukville International Port, most of them travel by bus to Phnom Penh and then to Siem Reap.  .
Currently, international tourists can get a Cambodian visa upon arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport (Visa On Arrival) or international tourists can apply for a Cambodian visa through embassies in various countries.

Visa


Foreign tourists can obtain a Cambodian visa upon arrival at any airport or international border crossing (Visa on arrival).
Visa on arrival is officially issued at the following entrances:

Siem Reap Airport (Angkor Wat Temple Area)
Land: Passengers can travel to / from Cambodia by land through the Aranya Pathet-Poipet border crossing or the Trat-Koh Kong border crossing in Thailand and the Mok Bai-Bavet border checkpoint in Vietnam and the Trapeang Kreal-Nong Kien border crossing. Laos.
There are 9 gates on the Cambodia-Vietnam border. There are 6 gates on the Cambodia-Thailand border. Cambodian visas are valid for thirty (30) days from the date of visa issuance, not from the date of entry.

Type K visa

Issued to a Cambodian citizen entering the Kingdom of Cambodia with a foreign passport (the applicant must provide proper documentation, such as proof that the applicant's parent is a Cambodian)  .  This visa is issued only once, free of charge and valid for unlimited entry into the Kingdom of Cambodia.

Visa Extension
Passengers wishing to stay in Cambodia for a longer period can extend their visa at the Immigration Department located in front of Phnom Penh International Airport or by visiting any travel agency.

Arranging visa-free travel for ASEAN member

The Government of Cambodia has for the first time announced the following visa-free travel arrangements with the following ASEAN Member States: Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, 

Singapore, Laos, Philippines, Myanmar and Thailand.

Airport tax

International departures from Phnom Penh are worth:
$25 for adults, $ 13 for children 12 and
under.

A domestic trip costs $ 6.

Land
From Thailand: Bus service is available from Poipet through the Thai border.  The ticket to Thailand is about $ 10.  The journey from Poipet to Phnom Penh is about 12 hours.

From Vietnam: Vietnam Bus service is available from Ho Chi Minh City.  The journey is about 5 to 6 hours between Ho Chi Minh City and Phnom Penh.

By ferry

From Siem Reap: Tourists traveling to Angkor Wat, Siem Reap can consider taking a ferry to Phnom Penh.  The journey can take up to five hours, depending on the speed of the boat and the depth of the water.  When traveling, you can see the countryside of Cambodia and life on this important waterway.  Tickets are around $ 25 - you can buy cheap tickets if you buy from a travel agency.
From Vietnam: High-speed ferry travel from Chau Doc to the Mekong Delta in Vietnam and Phnom Penh.  The journey takes about 5 hours.  The ferry leaves Chowdok at 08:00 am and leaves Phnom Penh at 01:00 noon for Chowdok in the evening.
